E-Studio

E-Studio is a professional recording studio located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. It was first founded as Soundtrack studios in 1975, when an old movie theatre was converted to a 320 m2 recording studio. The name was changed to E-Studio in 2010 when the studio was completely renovated and the equipment updated.

The E-Studio features two control rooms, a large 150m2, live room with legendary great acoustics, three isolation booths, a full size grand piano and a great variety of vintage keyboars, pedals and amps.

The Studio is run by two music lovers, Jyri Riikonen and Heikki Savolainen, who both have long careers in the Finnish and international music scene as engineers and producers. They have worked with top artists from jazz to rock to classical music on over 100 different albums.
